It has been awhile since I have updated the blog! A lot has gone on since the last time. We are ALL home! The kids and I got home in the middle of Aug and Jeffrey got home Sept. 6 (he drove 19 hours in one day to just get home).
We are already off to a VERY busy fall. Jeffrey has taken on a coaching job for a travel 15 U baseball team. Tournaments started last weekend and we play almost every weekend until the middle of November.
Jeffrey is still rehabbing his elbow here in Charleston. He is working on getting his arm ready to throw for some teams in the next few months. We hope to sign and know where we are going before spring training. We shall see what God's plans are though!
Emily is loving 1st grade. She is doing very well and is being kept busy with homework almost every night. She is doing gymnastics on Wednesday as of now, she is wanting to add another day of it. (Jeffrey and I aren't ready for that yet).
The boys are a handful right now. They are into EVERYTHING!!!! At the start of each morning I can pretty much count on them getting into trouble for getting into something that they shouldn't. It is the same things everyday as well, you would think they have learned by know!
I am staying busy with the kids and being a coaches wife! We travel with Jeffrey on the weekends so we can have "family time". The boys do love being at the ball park and I think it is really good for them! Em on the other hand isn't so excited. The most important thing is that we are together as a family!!!!!

So this is our last week here in AZ, at least for this season! Who knows what the future holds. So I am trying to get the house packed up so we can just load it all up on Saturday and be ready to go for Sunday. I think (and I know all you parents feel the same) your kids know when you are busy and distracted because that is when MY BOYS get into everything and anything. So here are a few things that have happened just this week and it is ONLY Wednesday!
Today... I was trying to get some things packed up that I was really needing to use. I made the boys a strawberry/grape snack to keep them busy. Well I guess they decided that they weren't busy enough and were even a little bored. They came up with a game... see how hard you can throw the fruit against the bin! I mean come on, at 1 and 2 they really shouldn't come up with things like this! I would have put the blame on Emily, but my sweet, sweet little 7 year old was in here room in a time out. Ugh... I am telling you, it is 1 step forward 5 steps back with me!

The two other pictures are from Monday when I was using the bathroom. I mean I guess I should have remembered that I ONLY can take a "Potty" break when the boys are napping or when Jeffrey is right there with the boys. So I finishing using the "potty" when I walk out of the toilet room and see a cloud of something in my bedroom. As I walked out of the bathroom the smell of the powder hits me and I find my two adventurous little boys with HUGE smiles on their face saying... "Look Mamma, powder... eveeerywherer! I love how they don't see ANYTHING wrong with the things they get into and Carson ALWAYS asks "Mom, why are you yellin?"

Organized Enough to Live

Before I get started I will go ahead and explain the 1st two pictures ( I am new to this blogging so I haven't figured it all out yet) Anyway- last night Jeffrey was on the grill and I was at the stove making dinner. I WAS on the phone with my dad as I was finishing up our side dishes and Jeffrey was bringing in the chicken as Cade walked out into the living area. His face looked funny like it looked as though he had skin coming off of his face...NOPE it was wet toilet paper that the boys decided to dip into the toilet! YUCK! Carson had taken his diaper off and stuck it into the toilet as well! It was a great way to start dinner!

So we are finally settled into our new house! I love it! I am having to get used to sleeping on the other end of the house (away from the kids). I keep the baby monitor in the hallway so I can keep and ear out! The kids are having a blast running around in the yard and swimming in the pool! We are just trying to enjoy out last few weeks together as a family before the kids and I head back home!

If it could happen, it happens to us...

Hey all! Well I finally have a few minutes to sit down and share some things with you all! It has been a crazy past few months and it doesn't seem to be calming down! Our newest adventure is moving 30 minutes away from where we live now (in Phoenix) because the house we are renting is being put up for auction on Aug 3.
We were lucky enough that the owner of the house had enough sense to use a property management company to handle the renters. They have worked with us and have found us a house for the remaining 3 weeks the kids and I are out here. So Monday after Jeffrey get home from rehab on Monday we will make the move!
Jeffrey is feeling great! His arm is coming along and is feeling "normal" as he says. The plan is to have him start throwing from the mound mid August and from there we will see where it goes.
Well I have to get back to packing! We have family coming into town tomorrow for the weekend so I won't be getting much done!
Until next time... XOXO
